In our Battling Infection lesson, students are able to follow a patient’s battle with salmonella from within the stomach. Learners can take control of the immune response, choosing which cells will respond at each stage of infection. Users can follow the infection process immersively through the intestinal tract, submucosa and lymph nodes.

Students are able to engage throughout the process of a pathogen entering the body and establishing an infection and better understand the potential seriousness of an immune response.
